There is a description of Asters Diamond King's record and statistics on the back of the print: Age 3 years and 8 months. Won four first prizes as a yearling including first at Sydney Royal Show, 1922. Dam's record - 465.62 lbs fat in 273 days and his half sister "Aster's August Child" gave 689.05 lbs of fat in 9 months as a two year old off grass.
