Swimming at Hawkesbury
DESCRIPTION
Content
Swimming has played an integral role in the life of students at HAC from the very early days of the College – from skinny dipping in Rickaby’s Creek through to the construction of an Olympic size swimming pool. Some important swimming greats have also been associated with the College, including Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton (Olympic swimmer) and Arthur Rosenthall (often spelt Rosenthal). Arthur helped establish Manly Life Saving Club.
