Original instructor and captain of HAC Life Saving Club, AKG Rosenthall (HAC student 1909-1912) and foundation member of Royal Life Saving Service. Sixteen students attained proficiency certificates in 1910. See Hawkesbury Agricultural College History Volume 1, p.129.
